Dakota Kid II bears the markings of the P-51 Mustang flown by North Dakota native Nobel Peterson,
a distinguished WWII fighter pilot. Nobel flew two tours with the 355th Fighter Group in England
between February 1944 and March 1945 in the Dakota Kid. He flew 106 combat missions and can claim 3 confirmed and 4
probable kills. Now 90 years old, Nobel is still in great health and accompanies this plane to airshows
around the country. The Long Island Kid, Robert Coleman, served in the
355th Fighter Group as Nobel Peterson's crew chief on the Dakota Kid. Robert currently makes his home in Long Island, NY.
Dakota Kid II is owned and piloted by Dr. Hank Reichert of Bismarck, ND.
Other warbirds are also available for airshow appearances.
